Tiger Iron Mini-Tower
Tiger Iron Mini-Tower
Tiger Iron, also known as Mugglestone, is a quartz-lignite aggregate gemstone containing layers of vibrant golden Tiger's Eye, metallic grey Hematite & rich, Red Jasper.
The name Mugglestone probably comes from the term mucklestone, a type of this gemstone found in a place named Moclestone in what is now Great Britain. That version has little, or low contrast, Tiger's Eye bands.
There is some scientific uncertainty about the formation process of Tiger Iron. Some geologists think it is a stromatolite, featuring banded layers of laminated algae fossils from sedimentary deposits. Another theory is that it is a Banded Iron Formation, formed when the earth was far more oxygen-rich than it is now. Both agree, however, that Tiger Iron is formed in sedimentary deposits.
Tiger Iron is said to contain all the metaphysical properties of its three component stones - the grounding power of Hematite, the healing power of Red Jasper & the energizing power & clarity-inducing strength of Tiger's Eye. But it is considered quite a powerful stone in its own right. Tiger Iron is believed to be a rare & potent three-fold stone; it grounds energies, protects the spirit & manifests the will.
