Lemurian Calcite Tower
Lemurian Calcite Tower
Lemurian Calcite is a form of Blue Calcite found only in Argentina. It is more accurately referred to as Blue Argentinian Calcite. It is known for its ocean blue coloring, white streaks & brown bands. Since its only known locale is in Argentina, it is considered relatively rare & highly sought after.
In 2009, the name Lemurian Aquatine Calcite was trademarked by Robert Simmons. Along with his partner, he has trademarked numerous names for many different minerals & stones that were already named & linking them to mystic legends, leaning heavily on Rosicrucian lore as a source for such knowledge.
However, Robert Simmons claims to have renamed it due to "its affinity to the element of water & to the water-oriented civilization of Lemuria," claiming Lemurian knowledge is contained within these crystals. He does not explain how he discovered that this particular stone "recalls the lost spiritual capacities and abilities of the Lemurians themselves".
The tales of Lemuria trace back to an old Tamil legend about a land that existed south of India called Kumari kandam [continent], which was then linked to a Western myth about a lost land called Lemuria.
Lemurian Calcite is known as a Water Element stone that is said to enhance intuition & dreaming. It may also promote an ability to balance emotions as well as thoughts in order to gain tranquility.
